He worked hard while he was studying abroad, choosing his studies rather than socializing with his friends. During the graduation ceremony, he was awarded as the second best in class. He continued his studies in England, serving as an intern for a local hospital. After he finished the internship program, he decided to take up an examination in Lebanon which would give him a license to practice in the United States if ever he passes it. While in the United States, he decided to take up additional training in general and pediatric surgery.
